You make the sites look good.
We make sure they stay good.

Surmado rebuilds your approved design on our platform, launches it, and operates it from then on. You keep the client, the creative work, and the credit.

We rebuild every site we take on. Co-branded, and you keep the client.

The problem

Nothing breaks. It just stops being current.

There is rarely one failure to point at. There is drift, and the client's customers notice it before the client does.

  • The footer copyright still says 2021
  • The headline is clipped off the left edge on a phone
  • A sticky call bar eats a third of the screen
  • The contact form stopped delivering months ago
  • A plugin update quietly broke the photo gallery
  • Staff and hours changed, the site did not
  • Page speed slid from good to poor
  • Every new photo is a 4 MB upload
  • The certificate expires on a Saturday

Every one of these is small. Together they tell a customer that nobody is minding the site, and your name is the one attached to the work.

We only manage sites we migrate.

That sounds like a limit. It is the reason everything else on this page is possible.

We rebuild your approved design on the Surmado platform, so we know every template, every asset, and every dependency in it. Nobody can promise a site stays correct on a stack they inherited and did not build.

So this is not a maintenance retainer for whatever the client already has. It is a rebuild, and then continuous operation.

Send us three client sites

We will tell you what is visibly broken on them and whether they are candidates to rebuild. Usually within one business day.

This is a fit check, not a repair ticket. We are looking at whether these sites are good candidates to move onto Surmado, and we will show you what we found either way. Nothing goes to your client, and there is no obligation.

You design and sell. Surmado operates.

One handoff, two clear lanes, and neither of us in the other's way.

You design and sell

  • Win the client and own the relationship
  • Design the site however you work best
  • Present it and get approval
  • Stay on for redesigns and creative work

Surmado operates

  • Rebuild the approved design on our platform
  • Host, secure, monitor, and back it up
  • Run continuous QA across real devices
  • Handle everyday edits and client requests

What we actually watch

This is the part a maintenance plan usually leaves vague. Here is the list.

Every change, checked

  • Real device widths, not a resized desktop window
  • No sideways scroll, no clipped headlines
  • Tap targets and sticky bars that leave room to read

Standards held

  • WCAG 2.1 AA contrast and keyboard paths
  • Performance budgets on images and fonts
  • Forms tested end to end, delivery confirmed

Always on

  • Uptime, certificate expiry, and security monitoring
  • Backups and a safe way back
  • Hours, staff, and content kept current

All of it applies to sites running on Surmado. That is what the rebuild buys, and it is why we do not offer this on stacks we did not build.

How it works

1

You send the portfolio

One site or fifty. We look at all of them.

2

We check fit

Brochure-style sites qualify. We tell you plainly which ones do not.

3

We rebuild

Your approved design, faithfully implemented on the Surmado platform. This step is not optional.

4

We verify and cut over

Every rebuild passes our 42-point human quality check before anything points at the new site.

5

We operate it

Hosting, QA, monitoring, edits, and client requests from launch onward.

6

You keep going

You keep the relationship, the credit, and every redesign that comes later.

Your name stays on the work

Surmado is not here to erase you. Your credit stays visible on the live site, and you stay the creative lead your client already trusts.

Designed by You · Managed with Surmado

Site operation is co-branded. Both names stay visible, and we tell your client the same thing we tell you.

What we can rebuild

Product focus, not a hedge. When a site fits, it fits well.

A great fit

  • Local-business websites
  • Service-business websites
  • Professional & practice sites
  • Portfolios
  • Brochure-style marketing sites

Not a fit

  • Ecommerce and online stores
  • Web applications
  • Complex SaaS products
  • Heavy custom integrations
  • Very large or unusual builds

Recurring revenue, without running a maintenance team

You set the client price. We charge you a wholesale rate per site, and the difference is yours for as long as the site runs.

  • You set the retail price. We never quote your client.
  • No quotas, no minimums, no exclusivity.
  • Portfolio migrations run in batches, so you are not managing a launch calendar.
  • Your client owns their domain, content, images, and business data. The platform running it is ours, the same as Shopify or Squarespace.

Rates depend on the portfolio and what each site needs, so we work them out in a conversation rather than posting them here. See what clients get on Surmado Sites.

Agency questions

Can you take over the WordPress sites I already have?

No. We only manage sites we migrate. We rebuild the approved design on the Surmado platform first, and then we operate it. We do not maintain WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or custom builds where they sit.

Why not? Taking them as-is would be easier for me.

It would be easier once and worse every month after. Continuous QA means knowing what every template does and what every dependency is. On a stack we inherited we would be guessing, and the promise on this page would be marketing instead of something we can actually hold.

Is this white-labeled?

Site operation is co-branded. Your credit stays on the live site and both names stay visible. Research reports are a separate product and those can be fully white-labeled.

I have 40 client sites. How does that work?

In batches. We qualify the portfolio, agree on an order, and migrate a group at a time, so you are never managing forty launches at once.

Who talks to the client?

You keep the relationship. Everyday requests, edits, hosting questions, and support route to us, so you stop being the help desk without giving up the account.

What happens when a client wants a redesign?

We tell you first and give you the chance to propose the work. If you pass, are not available, or are not the right fit, the client and Surmado can still move forward.

Who owns the domain and the content?

Your client owns everything that is theirs: their domain, their content, their images, their business data. The platform running it is ours, the same as Shopify or Squarespace. If they ever leave, everything of theirs leaves with them, plus a full URL map and redirects so the next developer picks up clean.

What does it cost?

You set what the client pays. We charge you a wholesale rate per site that depends on the portfolio and what each site needs, so we work it out in a conversation rather than on a page. Email hi@surmado.com and we will give you real numbers.

Do you still do audits and white-label reports?

Yes. Site Audit and AI Visibility research still exist and still white-label under your brand. See Site Audit.

Send us three sites. We'll tell you the truth about them.

The fastest way to see how this works is to point us at real client work.

We rebuild every site we take on · Co-branded · You keep the client
