Surmado is built to work for everyone.

What we do

  • Full keyboard navigation
  • High contrast mode support
  • No autoplay, no motion without user preference
  • Semantic HTML, proper heading structure
  • WCAG 2.1 AA as our target standard

How we test

We run our own Scan tool on this site. We also use axe, Pa11y, and manual keyboard testing. We respect prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-contrast settings.

We don't use overlay widgets or "accessibility plugins." Those are band-aids that often make things worse. We build it right from the start.
