Do you host my existing code?
No. Your build is the design source, not the production codebase. Surmado rebuilds the approved design cleanly on our own stack — we don't host arbitrary WordPress, Webflow, Astro, or React as-is.
What kinds of websites qualify?

Can I keep my design credit?
Yes. Your credit stays visible on the live site — “Designed by You · Managed with Surmado.” This is co-branded, not white-labeled.
Can I still make design changes?
Yes. You can submit new designs, page concepts, assets, copy, and major changes. Surmado implements and verifies them on the production platform. You don't get production-code access, but your design direction leads.
Is this white-labeled?
No. Both names stay visible. You supply the creative vision; Surmado supplies the backend relationship — out in the open.
Who supports the client?
Surmado. Hosting, edits, maintenance, monitoring, SEO, and everyday questions all route to us, through Scout and our human team. You stop being the help desk.
How does partner compensation work?
You earn a modest monthly residual for each active client you introduce. At today's SMB pricing it's a genuine sweetener, not a salary — no quotas, no lock-in.
What happens when the client wants a redesign?
We notify you first and give you the chance to propose the work. If you pass, aren't available, or aren't the right fit, the client and Surmado can still move forward.
Who owns the domain and content?
The client. They keep ownership of their domain and content — Surmado operates the site on their behalf, and you keep your credit.
Can I use Surmado for ecommerce or SaaS?
Not today. Surmado is focused on brochure-style sites. Ecommerce, web apps, and complex SaaS aren’t supported yet — those aren’t a fit right now.
