How it works, honestly

The honest version depends on where your unfinished site actually lives.

If your site is live, or you have a shareable preview link

This is the easier case. If a visitor, or we, can open your site or its preview right now, we can see everything: the pages, the layout, the text, the images. We rebuild directly from what's visible and finish anything that's missing. Then we get it fast and properly hosted.

If it only exists on your computer, or inside a builder account you haven't published

This one needs a conversation first, and we'll be straightforward with you about it. Share what you have: a preview link if your builder offers one, screenshots of each page, or an exported file if your platform supports exporting. From that, we tell you honestly what we can rebuild and what would need to be recreated from scratch. Sometimes it's everything. Sometimes a page or two needs to be built fresh, and we'll say so before you commit to anything.

What happens after

Once your site is finished and live, Surmado hosts it and keeps it secure. When you want something changed, whether that's your business hours or a new photo, you describe it in plain language and we make the change. No content management tool to learn, and no hosting company to call.

What this isn't for

If you're genuinely enjoying the process of building your own site, and the half-finished part is more "not done yet" than "stuck," keep going. Can you keep my exact theme and design?

We match what you've built as closely as what's visible or shared allows. It won't be a pixel-identical copy of your original files, since we rebuild on our own platform rather than reuse your original code, but it will read and feel like your site, not a new one.

Do I have to finish the site first?

No. Bring it exactly as it is: half done, disorganized, missing pages. That's the normal starting point here.

What if it only exists on my computer?

Share a preview link, screenshots, or exported files, whatever your platform gives you. We'll tell you honestly what we can rebuild from that and what would need to be recreated.

What if I'm mid-contract with a builder platform?

Your content and your domain are yours to move whenever you're ready. Anything else, like an early cancellation fee, depends on the platform, so check its terms before you commit to a date.
