Free Website Check
Speed scores from Google Lighthouse plus the DNS, SSL, and email signals that make your site trustworthy. One test, about a minute.
We won't share your email.
The speed test loads your homepage on a simulated phone through Google PageSpeed Insights. Trust signals are read from public DNS and HTTPS records. Quick check, not a full audit.

Biggest speed opportunities
Scores come from Google Lighthouse and move a few points between runs. 90 and up is good, 50 to 89 needs improvement, under 50 needs work.

Ask Scout for a Site AuditHow it works
Site Check runs two tests at once. Google PageSpeed Insights loads your homepage on a simulated phone and scores performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO the same way Google's own tools do. Meanwhile we read the trust signals attached to your domain: DNS records, SSL certificate, email authentication (SPF and DMARC), and whether your robots.txt lets the AI bots that matter see your site.
When to use this
Run it before a redesign so you know what you're starting from, after a launch to confirm nothing broke, or on a competitor to see how you compare. Slow pages cost real visitors, and broken trust signals quietly send your email to spam folders.
Frequently asked questions
What does Site Check actually test?
Two things at once. Speed and quality: Google PageSpeed Insights loads your homepage on a simulated phone and scores performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO. Trust: DNS records, SSL certificate, email authentication (SPF and DMARC), CAA, and whether your robots.txt allows the AI bots that matter.
Is Site Check free?
Yes. We ask for an email to limit abuse, and we don't share it.
Why do my speed scores change between runs?
Every run loads your page fresh, so network conditions and third-party scripts move the numbers a few points. That's normal for Lighthouse. Read the scores as bands, not exact figures: 90 and up is good, 50 to 89 needs improvement, under 50 needs work.
What is a good score?
Google groups scores into three bands: 90 to 100 is good, 50 to 89 needs improvement, and under 50 is poor. Performance is the hardest band to stay green in, and it's the one visitors feel first.
Can I check any website or just my own?
Any public website. Both tests read only publicly available data, so you can check a vendor before you sign, a competitor, or your own site before a redesign.
How long does the test take?
Trust signals come back in a few seconds. The speed test takes 30 to 60 seconds because Google loads and measures your actual homepage while you wait.
