Checking domain...
That's one signal. Your site has more.
The Website Health Check covers the big picture: Google Lighthouse speed scores plus DNS, SSL, email authentication, and AI access in one report.
Run the Website Health CheckHow it works
We connect to the domain over HTTPS, read the certificate the server presents, and report whether the connection works, whether the certificate is currently valid, and how many days remain until it expires — plus the HTTP status the homepage answers with.
When to use this
Certificate expiry is silent until the morning every visitor sees a browser warning instead of your site. Check before renewals, after moving hosts or CDNs, and whenever a visitor reports a security warning you can't reproduce.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does this check?
Whether the domain answers over HTTPS, whether the certificate is currently valid, how many days remain until it expires, and what HTTP status the homepage returns.
My certificate expires soon — is that a problem?
Most certificates renew automatically these days, so an expiry a few weeks out is usually fine. What matters is whether renewal is actually working: if the days-remaining number keeps shrinking past two weeks, someone should look at the renewal setup before visitors see browser warnings.
Will this show the full certificate chain?
No — this is a quick health check: validity, expiry, and reachability. It won't enumerate the chain or audit protocol versions. For most site owners, valid-and-renewing is the answer that matters.
